General Financial Advice meeting
Looking at making a financial decision and unsure on where to turn?
At Adanac, we can offer you the second pair of eyes you may need to help guide you through your decision and give you that peace of mind.
Emotions often play a significant role in financial decision-making. Fear, greed and uncertainty can cloud judgement and lead to impulsive choices. At Adanac, we provide an objective perspective, detached from emotional influences. This objectivity is invaluable in helping you make rational, informed decisions that align with your long-term financial goals.
Financial decisions are interconnected, and what happens in one area of your financial life can impact other aspects. At Adanac, we take a holistic approach, where we consider your entire financial picture, not just one aspect.
We assess how decisions in one area can affect your broader financial well-being. This comprehensive approach ensures that your plans are cohesive and aligned with your goals.
A recent successful example of this approach was an architect who had been referred to us by her accountant, who was looking for advice and her options with selling a long-term rental property. On the face of it, this would appear straightforward, but when looked at holistically, not so.
Prior to the meeting, the client furnished us with various facts and figures to enable us to plan the meeting. To try and maximise the benefit to her, we asked her to think about her aims and objectives, both personally and from her business perspective.
The meeting was centred around her situation, her aims and objectives, with every consideration made as to her needs both now and in the future. We discussed the possible options and, very importantly, their consequences.
We looked at what she should be doing and what she should not be doing, helping her to prioritise what was best for her, a truly collaborative meeting.
On the conclusion of the meeting, our client said that she was very relieved to have found someone who speedily got a grasp of her situation, someone who understood her needs and gave her clear, straightforward and impartial advice, and not someone who was merely trying to sell her a product.
In these instances, we simply charge for the work before and the meeting itself. This is usually at our rate of £195 per hour, subject to a minimum of £390, with no VAT.
We would confirm the level of services included in our fees in writing beforehand, following an initial call.
